Day 156 – Textures in Sanford

Brick Wall in Sanford FL

Walking through downtown Sanford with a “loaded” camera in hand is “dangerous”. Why? Because I simply can’t stop shooting 😉 There are just too many beautiful sceneries and buildings that it is simply impossible to stop… I also love zooming in and having a closer look at details. In that sense I am especially drawn to textures. This brick wall for example (it’s located on Magnolia) was just one of many (!) pictures I snapped this morning.

I challenge you to visit downtown Sanford this weekend, armed with your camera (even if it’s just a smart phone) and “shoot away”. I am almost sure you won’t leave town with at least 20 images taken 😉 Feel free to share your best shots on our Flickr photo group or on instagram on with #sanford365.

Hi, my name is Claudia! I live, work and play in Sanford, FL. To top it all off, I am also totally in love with Sanford! My husband Jose and I are Realtors in Sanford, FL and help people realize their dreams of home ownership. We have two sons, Nicolas (2011) and Lukas (2013). I am originally from Germany, moved here in 2004. In 2008 I started Sanford365.com. I love everything that says creativity. Design is my passion, no matter if Graphic, Web or Fashion Design - and I am also into photography :) I'm also very social and love to hang out with my family and friends, be it for a kids play date or a fun night out ;)
