Day 135 – Fiddlers Green in Winter Park

Tonight we celebrated a friend’s birthday at Fiddler’s Green in Winter Park. I had been at Fiddler’s Green before but only during the day (for a sports event) so I was curious to finally also get to know this popular Irish pub at night time.

I must say, at nighttime the authentic Irish pub atmosphere is just perfect. I really like the elegant yet cozy dark wood interiors and furniture.Of course the pub has Irish beer favorites like Guinness, Murphy’s Stout, and Smithwick’s Ale on tap.

Fiddlers Green Bar

Fiddler’s Green also offers lunch, dinner and take out. I’ve seen some great Irish specialties like Shepherd’s Pie or Gaelic Steak on their menu and might check it out soon. They even offer a Sunday brunch from 11am to 1:30pm.

When we arrived Fiddlers Green had live music entertainment and the mood in the bar was great! We spent some time at the bar first because it was very crowded, but in a good way. After that we found us nice little corner spot and spent the rest of the evening there. No wonder this pub has won so many “#1 pub” awards and everyone seems to know it.

This bar is a must if you like Irish pubs and I can only imagine how great the atmosphere will be on St. Patrick’s Day!
