Yes, this week it is finally time for Oktoberfest in Sanford! Here is a video with impressions from last year’s Oktoberfest that took place on October 11th, 2007.
Mark your calendar’s for this year’s Oktoberfest on October 9th, 2008 starting at 5pm on First Street in Sanford! This event is expected to be the biggest ever and as usual there will be lots of music, fun, food, and of course, especially this month, beer!
I will definitely be there and take pictures and some more videos. I promise the next video of this fun event will be better!!

This event is part of Sanford’s popular Alive After Five Street Party every 2nd Thursday of the month! Each event has its own theme, from “Party Gras” in February, to “It’s a Green Thing” in March (celebrating St. Patrick’s Day) to “Sanford de Mayo” in May, to “Blues and BBQ” in June. I will post more info about this event soon so check back!
