Thank you City of Sanford Recreation Department for continuing to display some of the cutest hay figures at the corner of First Street with Park Avenue. Every time there’s a new holiday coming up I eagerly await the latest idea. Most of you will remember our friend Igor who overlooked Halloween activities in Sanford last month. I have to admit that I initially thought this cute teddy was built for Christmas but somehow I wasn’t able to make the connection. Then I remembered the  Thanksgiving Turkey displayed several years ago and figured this teddy just has to be related to Thanksgiving – duh, it’s a Pilgrim Teddy!!
