Sanford’s biggest whiskey enthusiasts gathered on February 16th for an exclusive craft cocktail class at the Imperial at Washburn Imports (116 E First Street), where they learned the principles of crafting whiskey drinks under the tutelage of Michael Joshua Ring. He taught the differences and distinctions between various styles of whiskeys and the theory behind classic whiskey cocktails like the Old Fashioned and Pendennis as the students followed along. We were even given the opportunity to create our own recipes using beautiful seasonal berries, rare liqueurs, and a selection of exotic bitters. What an amazing treat, right here in Sanford!
