Willow Tree SanfordToday (9/17/2011) was the first day of the 2011 Oktoberfest in Munich. Sadly I couldn’t be there but I figured why not get myself in a bit of an Oktoberfest mood at least? So after a short stop at the Sanford Pirate Festival we headed over to the Willow Tree for Oktoberfest Bier, food and music. Although it made me miss home even more I still enjoyed it, especially the Triple Chocolate Cake dessert – chocolate and beer really do lift your spirits :)
