Oktoberfest in Sanford to me is always one of the best events of the year in Sanford and just as every year it was another big success! Thousands of people lined the streets and enjoyed the great food, beer, atmosphere and music! A big THANKS goes also to the Willow Tree Cafe and their generous “pretzel donation”. Free pretzels for everyone and they were so good! Another awesome addition was the beer garden right in front of the restaurant. I wish we could have this set-up all year round!
This year was also the first year I my kids in traditional Lederhosen. I was surprised that they didn’t mind wearing them at all – I guess they are German after all 😉
