The next Alive After Five Street Party event in Sanford will be all about man’s best friend, the dog: Doggone April! So come on out with your dog (on the leash of course) on April 9 from 5pm-9pm to celebrate historic Sanford downtown and enjoy live music, food and drinks.
Delicious food and drink samples are free for only $5. Support Sanford’s Alive After Five program and come to this fun event held every second Thursday of the month on and around First Street! Almost all shops, restaurants and galleries will be open during the event so you can shop or have dinner during or after the event.
New: There will be an “American I-Dog” talent contest. Does your dog have a special talent you want Sanford and to know about? Register your dog for a chance to win American I-Dog! Registration is only $5.00!
There will also be prizes for dog and owner look alike, best dressed dog and most unusual dog. The contest starts at 7PM and everyone who wants to participate must be registered by 6PM. Registration is possible either at Paw Park Place or the Welcome Center just before the event. Good luck to all of you! Can’t wait to see who the winners will be!
