Day 49 – New Marina Day Slips

Looks like the day boat docks at the Sanford Marina (by Veteran’s Park) are pretty much done! There will be an opening ribbon cutting ceremony this month and according to the City of Sanford, the project was actually finished under budget! From sunrise to sunset visitors will now be able to enjoy our beautiful city by boat 🙂

The finished project consists of a 10 slip pre-engineered concrete floating dock system, and is one of the leading ones in the industry for strength and durability. Sanford just keeps getting better and better!
