Since our neighborhood is currently visited by bears at night time (I am working on getting you all a picture of that!) I decided to turn my late evening walk into an early evening walk and changed the location to the Riverwalk, a much more friendly setting. While walking along the shores of Lake Monroe I snapped this picture showing off the progress made on the Sanford Riverwalk extension which will run all the way to the hospital. Phase 2 will be completed next year and I am beyond excited about this! It looks like not too much has been done so far, but the project definitely has started! I can’t wait to post that picture next year telling you all that Phase 2 of the Riverwalk is now officially completed 🙂
