Day 78 – Restaurants at the Sanford Marina and Sanford Riverwalk

Sanford Marina Restaurants and more

For those of you who would not only enjoy a walk along the beautiful Sanford Riverwalk but also like to try some of the culinary offerings along idyllic Lake Monroe in Sanford, here’s a list of the restaurants you will find at the Sanford Marina. BTW, on most of these places I will have separate posts, pictures and videos soon:

• Oscar’s Waterfront Bar & Grill: Overlooking beautiful Lake Monroe while tasting great food and a cool beer on the outside patio, Oscar’s is simply a great waterfront restaurant and bar.

• Rivership Romance – “Dine in Natural Splendor”: Board the Rivership Romance for an unforgettable lunch or dinner cruise! I have not done it yet but heard it is a wonderful and unique experience. So unless you’re plagued by motion sickness, go for a ride on Lake Monroe!

• The Palms Hotel and Banquet: Not a restaurant but offering food when you book a special event banquet. You can book special events at this hotel right on the Sanford Marina island, for example a wedding or engagement party.

• Wolfys Waterfront Bar’n Grill – “Food, Spirits, Sunsets”: This is another great waterfront bar and restaurant with popular specialties like Cajun spiced fish and chicken. Enjoy a sunset while listening to live music (on select dates) and having a great time with your guests.
