This time only a picture from the outside as I have not been inside this new wine bar in Lake Mary’s Colonial Town Park (right across the The Cafe Coffee and AmStar Movie Theatre, making it the perfect place for a glass of wine after an exciting movie).
Unfortunately, I missed their grand opening on November 14th, but I will soon check it out and post my thoughts, comments and, of course, pictures/videos here. From what I could see though the Vineyard Wine Company promises to be a stylish new bar (don’t you love those rattan patio sofas outside?) with a great assortment of finest wines. And as you can tell from their banner, they are open for lunch as well… By glancing at their menu I can already tell you that you will be in for a real treat! For dinner they offer tapas style dishes that will go excellent with your glass or bottle of wine.
Here’s their info:

I have given this restaurant WAAAYYYY too many chances. I overheard the manager Dan ridiculing customers to staff and other guests, he looks like trash and acts as such too. The customers just wanted a hot dish and i guess that was too much to ask for him. I would avoid this place at all costs. After speaking with a friend who (formerly) was a occasional guest, I was informed that they have fired all of their sommeliers (both whom he found as valuable) and lost Orlando’s best up and coming chef due to managements treatment of staff. They now have an extremely young and clueless chef named Derek Peters who has no idea how to enhance a menu that has progressively become worse since opening. They know nothing of wine since they have no intelligent wine knowledgeable people there and your most likely to find the owners drunk at the corner of the bar drinking all of the good wine they have. Avoid the arrogant guy named Tom that I’ve been told is the owner and has no interest in meeting guests. A disaster of a restaurant!
