Have you been to one of Sanford’s newest kids on the block yet? The Port right by the Sanford Marina opened its doors recently and I have to say I am already impressed by the view alone. Now I will just have to try their food (here’s a link to their online menu) but I have a feeling that it will make my favorite restaurants of Sanford list.
Now that temperatures are going down a bit the screened porch and open patio might be just the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite drink and watch the sunset or just enjoy a fun afternoon with friends. The inside bar offers views of Lake Monroe as well. I am not so sure about that blue color of the building, what do you think?
Something else that is really nice though is that you can book air boat tours from the restaurant. Simply call to set a date and get pricing at 407-300-4063 during their hours of operation, 11am to 10pm.
