Day 304 – Wine Club Meeting

Wine at Vineyard Wine Company

Since 2007 there is a monthly wine club get together in our neighborhood. We typically host it at any of the participating wine club “members” houses where we sample wines (based on the theme of the month, could be Italian wines, Merlots, you name it…). Every neighbor is required to bring a bottle of wine and a side dish or appetizer. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbors! If you don’t have a wine club, beer club or whatever club in your neighborhood, consider starting one. Most people will gladly participate and you will certainly make some new friends with similar interests.

Since we didn’t find a host for the month of July we all decided to go on a little wine field trip. We chose the Vineyard Wine Company at Colonial Towne Park in Lake Mary.Since I have previously written about this great little wine bar/restaurant/store in the past I am just posting my daily pic here.

Sampling Wine

Since our wine club involves wine sampling most of us ordered wine flights. Those are just small amounts of your selection of wines served in a metal stand like the one in the picture. Well, I am not a wine connoisseur (despite my “membership” in our wine club) but I have to say the wine sure tasted great
