4th of July Fireworks
So out of my list of things to do on the 4th of July (featured on this blog), we picked the Wekiva Falls event. We had a blast and are even thinking about making it our 4th of July tradition…
It was a great idea to bring our gazebo tent. It didn’t rain but it gave us good protection against the sun. We brought a grill, coolers with drinks and lots of food, games, floats and everything else needed to make it a fun 4th of July picnic by the Wekiva river. The DJ was playing fun music all day long and at night time the park had some very nice fireworks (only my picture didn’t turn out too well…). The event was a big success and even though lots of people attended, it never felt crowded. Besides, the majority left in the late afternoon; I think they were headed to watch the fireworks elsewhere. I am glad though we stayed until the very end
