The corner store inside the Bishop Block building (First & Palmetto) has been many things ever since I started this web site. Do you remember Fawn (sad to see them go, too bad they were not around anymore when we became parents…) or the Palette at Art Affair Gallery (loved that place!!). Most recently the store had been converted into a rather posh lounge called Sapphire Lounge, and since last week it seems that Sapphire Lounge has been taken over and is now called “First Street Lounge”, Sanford’s only gay bar.
