Day 198 – Sanford Post Office

Temporary Post Office

Since I had to drop off a package and a certified letter today I stopped by the post office in Sanford and this is what expected me… Apparently there was a fire in the building next door and therefore the poor employees of the downtown Sanford post office have to work out of this “temporary office” until things are fixed.

It was quite a hot day and I can imgine how uncomfortable it must be to work out of this small space. Of course it was a bit unpleasant for us customers too, to wait outside in the sun. Not complaining though, I do love the sun, and really, compared to what they go through it’s nothing to wait 10 minutes in the sun. Hope this all gets taken care off soon!
