Sushi in Winter Park, FL

Tonight we went for dinner at Wazzabi Japanese Steak House and Suhi Bar. This neat little restaurant is located by popular Winter Park Village – a great place in Winter Park for dinner and drinks, there’s not only Park Ave :)

Wood carved patio furniture at Wazzabi

I loved the food, Wazzabi offers a great variety of Sushi and other Japanese specialties. The patio furniture deserves special mentioning: you will be sitting on unique carved wood furniture which I hear is something typical for Asia (unfortunately never been to Asia so I can’t confirm it). However, beware, it may not be the most comfortable spot and with my 5 ft 9 in it almost seemed like kids furniture to me and I had to be careful not to drop my sushi off the sticks. Nevertheless, I really liked the look of it and the patio is a great spot to enjoy a mild Florida evening. The live entertainment was also great, not too loud and just the right tunes to have a relaxed conversation.

So check out Wazzabi in Winter Park, it’s a great place for dinner and an evening out.
