Savannah North of Bogota
We drove outside the city today into the “sabana de Bogota”. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. All the green I was missing yesterday in Bogota seems to be accumulated here 🙂 The nature around here reminded me a lot of Austria or Switzerland. It’s so peaceful and serene.
La Catedral de Sal in Colombia
After that, we visited the famout “catedral de sal”, a huge salt mine that has parts of it converted into a church, and everything is made of salt. This is an amazing place to see!
Andres Carne de Res
We ended the day at Andres Carne de Res in Chia. This bar/resturant/dance club is famous in Colombia and I have to say, now I understand why. It is truly an experience to visit Andres Carne de Res.
The inside is so creative, full of details, like a patchwork and therefore very original. Every time you look somewhere in this place you will discover another neat detail. I found a lot of inspiration for art here, and had lots of fun at the same time. The food is delicious, the cocktails too, and the music is a fun mix of Latin rhythms and International music (be it Madonna, the Beatles or Rhianna…).
