Day 100 – Nursery Lights on Upsala

We couldn’t help but take my sister down to the legendary Upsala Road Christmas lights in Sanford after shopping tonight. Everyone who’s ever driven down Upsala during the holidays will know what I am talking about. And if you missed them this year, put this on your MUST SEE list for next year, you won’t regret it 😉 (my picture doesn’t do these lights any justice) PS: Triple Digits today!! I made it to 100. 265...

Day 99 – Christmas Morning

This sure looks like Christmas morning to me 🙂 Tia Gabi and her nephew Lukas! I am happy that we decided to also adopt the American tradition of opening gifts on Christmas morning in our (holiday themed) pajamas, of course along with a yummy pancake breakfast. OK, I might be slightly exaggerating but let me tell you, I am NO gift wrapper; never was and never will be. The problem is that when you...

Day 96 – Illuminated Bikes

Only in Sanford… and yet another reason why our little town is so great! How about watching dozens of Christmas light illuminated bicycles pedal through historic downtown? Well, I can’t say I actually saw them (had to head home after the illuminated boat parade yesterday), but Christina sure did and snapped this fantastic picture of the group. So creative, quirky and cool! Won’t miss this one next...

Day 95 – Illuminated Boat Parade on Lake Monroe

What a beautiful sight seeing the illuminated boats float over Lake Monroe between Veterans Memorial Park and Fort Mellon Park! Can’t believe the season is almost over! With all these awesome events going on in Sanford I wouldn’t mind another month of holiday cheer...
