Day 149 – Pardi Gras 2014

Despite the cooler temperatures Pardi Gras 2014 was quite a success. Lots of people came out to listen to awesome music and sample some great food while having a great time with friends and family. And isn’t that what Alive After 5 is all about? Next up is “It’s a Green Thing”, the annual St. Patty’s Day street party. The event will take place on March 13 from...

Day 148 – My Favorite Bookstore

Maya Books and Music is simply one of the coolest bookstores I have ever visited. How awesome is it to have such a unique and quaint bookstore right here in Sanford? The white color of the building in contrast with...

Day 145 – Another look into the Imperial

As Christina and I had stated in one of our previous posts the Imperial at Washburn Imports is without a doubt one of Sanford’s most unique and up and coming bars. Here’s just another snapshot of the inside I took the other night at my German Girls “Stammtisch”. It was at the end of the evening which explains the lack of people, but I thought it was probably a good shot to show you all how much space there is...
