May just keeps being a busy month! This Saturday we have another big festival in town, this time something for our taste buds 😉
And, of course, it’s also Mother’s Day weekend. I was happy to have my mom here last year for Mother’s Day and took her out for yummy brunch at Christo’s (have you tried their French Toast? Oh my!!) followed by antique and record store shopping in Downtown Sanford. Sadly, she can’t be with me this year but my boys (or their dad) might have some ideas how we can spend a beautiful day together. Whatever you may do this weekend, I wish all you moms out there a very special Sunday!

Featured Event: Taste of Sanford
The Taste of Sanford is a Signature Event put on by The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce. This year, as the event celebrates its 11th year, the Chamber is inviting residents and visitors to bring mom and the family to enjoy a wide variety of great local fare, local artisans, crafters, food and music (top name entertainment on stage). Bring your blankets and stay for the day as you enjoy the views of beautiful Lake Monroe from Ft. Mellon Park. In addition, an array of activities await the little ones as they hang out in the Kids Zone getting their faces painted, and entertained by Renee Adams.
